Robert has been playing piano (both acoustic and electronic) and organ since the age of 11. Robert specializes in light jazz, popular tunes, and classical repetoire. Classically trained, he brings his stylistic understanding of music and improvisational skill to everything he plays. His interpretations of the ballad style have been described as intimate, moving, and introspective. Jazz interpretations are precise and appropriate. Renditions of light popular styles such as Yanni are true to the original composers' intent while still bearing the stamp of originality.

In addition, Robert is an active composer, primarily, at this time, of church music. His works have been featured in several churches where he has served, and he is soon scheduled for publication. His most recent work, From Glory to Glory, has received public acclaim at its premiere performance. Robert will accept commissions for anthems. A four week or more notice is recommended.
