Robert Albright is the author of this web site. It is 90% hand coded HTML using Window's Notepad. The other 10% is code extracted from other web sites and adapted to this one. The banner and table of contents graphics were created using Paintshop Pro. All other graphics--except link graphics to music sites or places--are either scanned images or in the public domain.

The site began as a learning experience to teach myself HTML and Javascript coding. It is my first attempt at a web site. The table of contents remains virtually unchanged since its creation. Almost every other part of the site has evolved a great deal over time.

The most active area of the site is the links page, and it's a good place to start browsing. This area is a reflection of my interests and contains many fascinating web site links. I have a lot more stuff to cram in here, but I want it organized, and it is finally starting to take shape. I've added a half dozen new subcategories in recent weeks. Look for more organizational changes to occur: more subcategories (I don't see this method used for organizing links much, and I wonder why) and fewer links on the main page.

I have completely revised what used to be called the "Christianity/Religion" page. It is now called the "Religion and Mythology" page and contains links to some of the major sites maintained by the world's great religions.

The most primitive area of the site is the book favorite page. Located off the interests page, it contains a meager sampling of favorite authors and their books. I have not discovered a method for producing this page without burdening the site with hundreds of book titles. At the moment, the page consists of a handful of very fine works which I happen to have read recently.

Using a few simple Javascript commands, I have enhanced the functionality of the banner frame so that it displays the title of the content frame as well as provides one click access back to the top of the site. A minor bug which I must still address is seen if you use the backspace key to return to a prior page. The title frame will not change in that case; it is only responsive to mouse clicks.

I apologize to those of you who actually took the time to read my essays and haven't had anything new to read. Don't give up; I hope to start writing again. I re-read all of the essays and am still pleased with their content. Take a few minutes to read one or two; I think you'll like them. The two new ones that I put up recently are still not complete, but they at least get at the ideas I want to express in them.

Your is, of course, welcome. Comments concerning HTML style and site content, and thoughts about what you like or dislike are especially welcome. Most important of all: tell everyone about this site if you liked it!
